| This bill would provide that a consolidated government with a CPI-adjusted homestead exemption and that levies a second local option sales tax must use half of the resulting funds for general reserves. This bill is designed to apply to Macon-Bibb County and would authorize, subject to voter approval, a second local option sales tax. |
